* Fuel Surcharge may be required.

Capt. Beinhaur has an OUPV license which permits 6 passengers on the vessel.  Please contact us if you would like me more people than whats listed above.

The 25 % deposit is required to reserve your charter spot.  The remainder is required prior to leaving the dock.  A refund will be given if the captain cancels your trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.  If you cancel your trip 7 days prior to trip date, you will receive your deposit refund minus any fees for processing (approx $10-$15).  We currently accept cash and credit cards.  All costs will be paid prior to the boat leaving the dock.  We use “Square” for our credit card processing.

We allow limited numbers of people on the Karen B to allow the clients more space to fish and for a more personalized  charter service to be provided.  Numbers are flexible depending on angler skill and competence (to be determined by captain).  Please contact us if you would like more people on the charter and we will gladly discuss this with you.  The ideal number of anglers in the Merrimack River is two due to sea conditions, currents and boating traffic (we don’t want your lines tangling and cutting into your fishing time).

Mates

Mates are not always aboard the Karen B.  It is up to me as the captain to decide if there is a need to have one on board.  When they are on the Karen B, they work on a “tip” basis as their pay.  They are there to help my clients with the landing of their fish, rigging of the gear and generally are an extra set of hands to provide you the client with the best possible day of fishing we can provide to you.  Some of the mates are there as a benefit for themselves to gain valuable knowledge to eventually start their own charter business.  Some are there to get “sea time” to gain their captains license.  Be assured though that ultimately they are there for you!  They can take pictures with your camera or maybe just grab you a drink from your cooler.  My mates are all people I know personally and trust them to provide you with proud, knowledgeable and curtious service.

Please reward the mates if you feel that they provided you with the service you expected.  The customary tip for a mate is 15%-20% of the cost of the trip.
